Today is the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther Kings’ ’ “I Have a Dream” speech. And from that dream we will pull a new reality.

There really is a new sheriff in town and the party hacks that got where they are thanks to the Clintons had better get on board. 

Last night watching Ted Kennedy muscle through brain cancer and Michelle Obama effortlessly give voice to the theme ONE NATION moved everyone in the arena to their feet, some even to tears (mostly us girls).

I felt proud of my country again.  Hopeful for the future for the first time in a long time.  I kept thinking of our soldiers getting orders to return home where a NEW American dream would be waiting for them with jobs, health care and gratitude.  This election can’t come soon enough for them, for me, for all of us.

We are ONE NATION and the fake divisions that are being drilled into our heads are nothing more than political theatre.  America is yearning and we are only one election away from restoring decency and equality back to our people.
